Don't listen to the MovieGuys review AT ALL. It doesn't even sound like they watched The Boys throughout. If you loved the boys, you will love Gen V. Yes it is a bit disturbing, but so was the boys. Not as good as the Boys, somewhat more predictable due to the "teenage" college setting and the characters are nowhere near as likable as Hughie, Butcher, Frenchie, MM and Kimiko With that out the way; GenV is a decent enough spin off, it does nothing new nor does it add anything to The Boys universe.
